Daytona 500 2020 gets postponed

The Daytona 500 is a NASCAR Cup Series season starter held annually at the Daytona International Speedway located in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Daytona 500 has served as the NASCAR season opener since 1982. The 200-lap, 500-mile race features 40 drivers on the track. The race was originally supposed to take place on February 16th at 2:30pm. Due to an unfortunate rain delay the race will be pushed back to Monday, February 17th. The winner will take home two million dollars, the top-three drivers will earn more than one million dollars, in addition to sponsorships that could be worth millions.
