Rebecca Meldron

Rebecca Meldron, Reporter

Although you may see Rebecca Meldron (‘20) every Monday on the morning announcements, she is also a second-year staff member within our community pages. On top of her active role in the newspaper, she interns at BCPS TV with ambitions of becoming a news broadcaster. Outside of school, she watches Netflix shows—such as “Friends”, “Jane the Virgin”, and “The Vampire Diaries”—and works as a hostess at the Manor Tavern. Her favorite food is pasta and her favorite animal is her dog, Pepper. In school, she is a part of the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society as well. This year, Meldron hopes to succeed in her internship and get accepted into the colleges that she applies to while attempting to keep her stress levels as low as possible. As for journalism, she aspires to write good articles and to improve both her Adobe and photography skills.
