  • Child Development teacher, Morgan Espeut passes out cupcakes to preschoolers. They had a short break before going on a second round of trick-or-treating. “I definitely think this [trick-or-treating] will help us with keeping the kids attention and keeping them grounded,” said Hannah League (’18). “When you’re walking with [the preschoolers] you get to know them better and get a better understanding of their personalities one-on-one.” said Sophia Karas (’20)

This month in the classroom students participated in activities designed to facilitate and enrich their classroom experience. Students in Honors Physics dropped pumpkins off of the roof and combined the recorded information with Kinematics equations to calculate the height of the building. Students in Child Development took their preschool students trick-or-treating around the school, continuing an annual tradition. Students in Intro to Journalism interviewed Chemistry teacher Charles Fluharty in a mock press conference.
