National English Honor Society, Quill and Scroll, and ITS held their annual induction ceremony and distribution of cords to the seniors in the auditorium on May 8 at 6:30 pm. They informed the audience of the history of each society, what the society members have done the past year, and requirements needed to be/ stay in each.

“I loved the slide show ITS showed of all the members and what we did this year.” ITS member Alexis Griffey (’17) said. “It made me realize I’m really going to miss everyone and everything we did.”

The ceremony brought new members in while saying sweet goodbyes to those graduating.

“My favorite part was when Emma Coleman (’17) and Madison Plunkert (’17) were recognized for their work that they did and their scholarships because we don’t usually get that kind of recognition.” English teacher Sharon Place said.
