On Wednesday 20, English teacher, AVID instructor, and varsity softball coach, Laura Blama was nominated as Herefords 2016-17 BCPS teacher of the year. She was recognized at the teacher of the year ceremony at George Washington Carver for Arts and Technology in Towson.
