Summer jobs… nah

As summer starts to begin summer jobs are on a lot of Hereford students’ minds, not really. After a poll through out the school data was found about 36% of students do not have a summer job. Another 15% of students are applying.

Students don’t have enough time, it seems like.

“With club lacrosse and field hockey training I can’t fit in a work schedule,” said Kylie Nause (’18)

Many of the jobs students do have are pretty usual such as being a life guard or camp councilor. These jobs are specific to summer so the bosses know this job will end come August.

Other students just feel a job isn’t important on their summer break. They would rather spend their time going to the cliffs’, the beach, and lounging around the pool.
