     Mu Alpha Theta members and Ms. Zahra Khanssari’s AP Calculus students competed in the University of Maryland High School Mathematics Competition on October 24th. Students scoring well in this competition will qualify to compete in the next contest and the three who earn the top scores after both phases will earn cash prizes of up to $500. The overall top scorers will earn a full scholarship to the University of Maryland if they attend the school for college.
